The Mission of Cascade United Methodist Church

"We can do all things in Christ who strengthens us" Philippians 4:13 As faithful members of Cascade United Methodist church, we unite as members of the body of Christ to serve as instruments of His ministry as set forth in the Word of God. We seek to manifest our faith as Disciples of Jesus Christ through witness, stewardship, worship, service, prayer and praise. We are committed to living out the mandate of the gospel as we relate to the needs of our brothers and sisters in the larger community. We shall fulfill our responsibility to effectively develop, organize, and manage the resources of Cascade for the general welfare of our local and connectional church family, our friends and our collective community as set forth in the Book of Discipline of the United Methodist Church. We shall value the equality of all persons as children of God and respect their thoughts, ideas, and fellowship, as it relates to our common good. We shall direct our time, talents, gifts, and prayers toward positive changes in the world around us, promoting peace and justice for all humankind. We shall universally proclaim our fundamental guiding principle, CASCADE A LIGHT IN THE COMMUNITY, as Jesus is the light of the world.
