Areas: Pharmaceutical Separations and Supercritical Fluids |
Degrees:
Bachelor of Chemical Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology (1995)
Research Summary:
I'm looking at various methods of particle formation using
supercritical fluids. Currently, I'm producing diamondoid
particles by the RESS process to study the effects of several
conditions on the particle morphology.
Bio Sketch:
I was born in Finland in 1974. Shortly, after my father
finished his Master's in Chemical Engineering, we moved to
Seattle. After several years in Seattle, my family moved
to Goshen, NY and then eventually to Atlanta, GA.
I received my Bachelor's degree from Georgia Tech in 1995.
During the summer of 1994, I worked at Hoechst Celanese Corp.
in Charlotte, NC. Last year, I was awarded a National
Science Foundation Fellowship and began the graduate program
at Georgia Tech. I am currently working in the field of
Thermodynamics under Dr. Amyn Teja.
