The primary goals of the program are:
- To collect a body of data on thermophysical properties ( viscosity, thermal conductivity, heat capacity, density, phase equilibria and other properties) and to make it conveniently available to members.
- To measure thermophysical data of importance in industrial process design.
- To create a reliable and up-to-date data bank of thermophysical properties.
- To develop correlations for use by design and process engineers.
