HISTORY
The Up & Up Investment Club is a group of nine professionals striving to achieve
long-term financial gain through investing. The group began in December of 1997
with its primary goal being
PROFIT THROUGH EDUCATION
Over the past year, the
group has created an exceptional portfolio of blue-chip stocks. This has been
accomplished through investigation and evaluation using steps created by the
individual partners and techniques learned from the National Association of
Investors Corporation (NAIC).
The club is operated as a partnership. Every partner has collective
responsibility for researching a specific industry and providing the other
partners with a constant snapshot of that industry. This is accomplished by
submitting a detailed stock report based on the assigned industry every other
month. The submitted stocks are then evaluated by an internal evaluation
committee. The evaluation committee makes recommendations to the entire club.
Using the submitted reports and the recommendations the stocks are voted upon at
the monthly club meetings, and the purchase of these stocks are facilitated by
the monthly club dues.
